How can I reach ilovecaptcha today?
There is no public contact channel open at this stage, and that is deliberate rather than an omission. ilovecaptcha is in development, so a support address advertised now would collect questions nobody is on duty to answer. Rather than publish an inbox that goes unread, this page states plainly what exists and what does not. The situation changes at launch, and this page changes with it.
What opens at launch?
Three things, published here at the same time as the API and listed below. None of them exists yet, and none is being tested privately with a subset of users: the three open together, on the day the API opens.
- A support address — tied to the service rather than to a personal mailbox, for technical questions about integration and errors.
- An account area — where API keys are issued, rotated and revoked, and where usage is visible to the account holder.
- The technical documentation — endpoints, parameters, error codes and code samples, which answers most questions before anyone needs to write in.
What does the absence of a contact channel mean in practice?
That nothing on this site can take anything from you, and that is the point. It also means no message sent to a guessed address reaches anyone: any inbox built from this domain before launch is unmonitored, whoever appears to be answering it.
- No form and no field on any page of this site, in either language.
- No published address — support, press or otherwise — before the API opens.
- No waiting list and no pre-order, so nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.
Anyone contacting you on behalf of ilovecaptcha before launch is not acting for this project.
What about press, partnership or abuse reports?
Those channels open at launch as well, alongside the terms of service. An abuse reporting route is part of that release: a service of this kind needs a way for a site operator to raise a problem and get an answer, and it will be published together with the acceptable use policy summarised on the home page.
Where are the answers in the meantime?
On the two pages that already document what exists. The about page states what the project targets, who it is built for and exactly which parts are live today, with the sources it quotes. The legal notice covers server logs, retention and the third-party names used on the site. Between them they answer most of what a contact form would otherwise be asked before launch.
Is there anything to do in the meantime?
Three things, none of which costs anything or requires leaving an address. Nothing here asks for a payment detail in exchange for being told when the API opens.
- Check the home page — it carries a visible last updated date and is where the launch will be announced first.
- Read the acceptable use rules — summarised on the home page, they already state what the API may and may not be pointed at.
- Come back at launch — support address, account area and technical documentation are published together, on this page.
